Process Activities
Process Activities provide ongoing, formative opportunities for you to build and apply knowledge, synthesize readings and resources, develop and practice technical and aesthetic digital media skills, grow your perspectives on ideas and issues, and generally represent your progress with attention to course topics, guiding questions, and learning outcomes. Most Process Activities use the discussion forum feature of AsULearn in order to cultivate dialogue as a class community. These are called Conversations and they generally require you to make an initial post and reply to two classmates.
Process Activities may include creative synthesis strategies (like remix) along with short assignments such as reflections, quizzes, mini papers, or digital stories. Occasionally, you may be asked to record video, audio, or use external tools like Wix or Padlet.
Complete details for each Process Activity will be provided through customized prompts on AsULearn, accompanied by a consistent Grading Guide to communicate evaluation criteria clearly.
